Are you tired of struggling with your old VHS, Video 8, or Beta tapes? Or has your VCR broken and left you unable to watch your home video collection? These video formats can fade over time and have a relatively short life span of 20 years or less.
Don't leave your memories of birthday parties, weddings and other precious moments on technology on the verge of extinction. Upgrade those precious family home videos to the latest technology by converting them all to a Blu-ray disc.

Why Blu-ray?

Blu-ray discs were developed to support the high-definition technology utilized by HDTV. To accommodate the high-definition technology Blu-ray discs have much greater storage capacity than standard DVDs . Due to these and other enhancements, Blu-ray discs are expected to eventually replace the current standard DVD technology. With Blu-ray discs you’ll not only enjoy the convenience of watching your old videos on a high quality DVD, but you’ll also consolidate your entire home movie collection into fewer discs. By transferring your videos to a Blu-ray disc, you’ll no longer need to dedicate an entire shelf or cabinet to

Save Valuable Space

Imagine taking a collection of 12 home videos and condensing them down to just one disc. It’s possible with Blu-ray technology. A standard DVD at 4.4 GB only has enough space to hold one VHS tape. A single layer Blu-ray disc with 25 GB can easily hold 6, 2-hour VHS tapes without sacrificing quality. A dual layer Blu-ray disc has 50 GB of space and can hold 12 VHS tapes on a single disc.

Makes Navigating through Home Movies Easier

DTS makes your movie watching experience more enjoyable by providing a navigation menu for each video on the disc. Each video chapter is broken down into sub-chapters at 5-minute intervals for easy selection of the video you want to watch, so you won’t have to randomly fast forward or rewind through tapes to find the part you want to watch like you do with VHS tapes. Best of all, no more rewinding required!

FAQ Section:

Is a Blu-ray player required?

Yes, in order to view a Blu-ray disc, a Blu-ray player is required. As Blu-ray technology is expected to become the standard for movies, Blu-ray players and movies are becoming more readily available
.

Can you improve the quality of my videos?

Using a special analog to digital conversion process and high quality variable bit rate encoding, we are able to reproduce the video exactly as it appears in its analog form. The video quality itself is limited in resolution.

Will my videos look better on Blu-ray than regular DVD?

No. Generally the video quality is optimized by using a variable bitrate of 8 Mbps. Blu-ray does however make the viewing experience much easier and impressive by consolidating and organizing your collection into easy to navigate discs.

How much video can I fit onto a Blu-ray disc?

We can transfer up to 12 hours of video onto our Super Blu discs and 24 hours onto our Ultra Blu discs.

What if I just want video tapes transferred to a standard DVD disc? We can also transfer your video tapes to DVD if desired. Do you charge less per smaller tapes? To make the pricing as simple as possible to calculate, we charge a flat handling and transfer rate per tape.
