We transfer 8mm, super 8, and 16mm film at 1080 lines of resolution.

Whether you have priceless home movies from the 1950's sitting in a shoebox somewhere or you are shooting a production on film today, our technology in the hands of experienced operators will ensure your digital transfer will preserve the subtleties and beauty of your film.

Our high definition film transfer works by capturing each individual frame of film at 1080 lines of resolution as a still image and assembling them into an uncompressed digital file. This enables us to output the transferred film to any frame rate eliminating flicker and blended frames. With the absence of a mirror, screen, or box, this process produces extremely vibrant images without any loss in sharpness, contrast, or color fidelity.

The resulting image is sent directly via HD-SDI to one of our computer workstations. This process allows us to edit out leader, blank spots, add soundtracks, titles, and output to various video formats. If Blu-ray or DVD is the desired output format, complete customization of chapter marks, navigation, and more is available.

We accept 8mm, Super 8 silent, Super 8 sound, 16mm silent, and 16mm sound film for transfer on our high definition frame-by-frame transfer equipment.
